Towards effective and sustainable planning for Nueva Vizcaya's progress and advancement
MISSION
Initiate and cause the participatory formulation, coordination and integration of effective and comprehensive development plans, analyze income and expenditure patterns; provide sufficient and reliable information, conduct researches and continuing studies for project planning; monitor and evaluate the implementation of programs and projects with feedback mechanism in support to the LGU vision
OBJECTIVES
To integrate all investment programs of NGAs, CSOs and the municipalities to the Provincial Development Investment Plans
To establish operational data bank
To conduct policy research & studies
To provide technical assistance to Lower LGUS In the preparation of Comprehensive Land Use Plans, Forest Land Use Plans, Comprehensive Development Plans and Annual Investment Programs
To implement fully the monitoring and evaluations system
To provide the Local Chief Executive up-dates on programs and projects implementation.
To increase staff productivity
To provide Effective Fund Management

LOCAL PLANNING & INVESTMENT PROGRAMMING
Preparation of Developments Plans/ documents such as :
Provincial Development & Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP)
Provincial Comprehensive Development Plan (PCDP)
Provincial Development Investment Plan (PDIP)
Annual Investment Program (AIP)
Technical Assistance to Development Planning in the different Municipalities
Preparation of Municipal Comprehensive Land Use Plans(MCLUP)
Preparation of Forest Land Use Plan (FLUP)
Preparation of Annual Investment Program (AIP)
Conduct of Policy Research and Studies
Secretariat to the Provincial Development Council, Provincial Development Council-Executive Committee, Sectoral Committees: CODA, SODCOM, ECODEV, PENRC, INFRACOM; and Functional Committees: PLUC, PPMC and PSCC
Assist Walk-in Clients and organizations in Project Development & Special Projects Proposals preparation
Review of Municipal Budgets
Maintenance of Data Bank Center and Geographical Information System

MONITORING AND EVALUATION PROGRAM
Regular monitoring of Programs, Projects, Activities for Regular Fund and 20% Development Fund
Semestral Program Review and Evaluation

PEOPLE'S PARTICIPATION
Assist NGOs & CSOs in the accreditation of their organizations to the Sanggunian
