MISSION

To capacitate disadvantaged families and communities to become productive and self-sustaining through the provision of on-time social welfare services complemented with a comprehensive implementation of population and nutrition programs

FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

	Relief and rehabilitation services for disaster victims, families in crisis situation and rebel returnees
	Social Welfare and Development for Family Head for Family Head and Other Needy Adults (FHONA) Children and Youth, Disadvantaged Women and Disabled Persons, Elderlies and poersons with disability
	Manpower development
	Management of Population Program

OBJECTIVES

	To address the basic needs of individuals or families in crisis situation
	To provide timely and responsive emergency relief and support services to include financial assistance to disaster victims particularly during the first 2 days of occurrence and bring the individuals/families to safety
	To restore the normal social functioning of the individuals/families in distress due to disaster and other crisis situation through the rehabilitative services/interventions
	To reduce or eliminate the incidence of malnutrition and to promote the general welfare of the affected populace thru improved IEC/advocacy activities on good health practices and nutrition projects
	To help achieve PRE harmony and to promote Reproductive Health
	To provide technical assistance to LGUs on Early Childhood Care Development (ECCD) and other developmental program
	To conduct capability building for LGU providers and partner agencies
