PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT ENFORCES RA 9003	June 1, 2008

Governor Luisa Lloren Cuaresma recently signed Executive Order C-220 last April 14 in line with Sangguniang Panlalawigan Ordinance No. 2001-029 to enforce the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.

Cuaresma said that effective May 2 of this year, the strict implementation of the said law will kick off with the Administrative office and solid waste management coordinator to oversee proper waste segregation, collection and disposal of waste in every office or department inside the capitol compound.

The Governor made her directive with a stern warning (on violators) as the provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya is promoting the Capitol Compound and its other territories as a tourist destination.#gene basilio
