NVPH GETS P2.3M-WORTH OF HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT;
LINKAGE WITH NUEVA VIZCAYA ASSOCIATION OF HAWAII STRENGTHENED

An anesthesia machine worth P1.8 million pesos and fifty-thousand pesos-worth of hospital supplies were amongh the gifts brought home by the delegation of Governor Luisa Lloren Cuaresma from their recent trip to the United States.

The said equipment and supplies were donated by the Nueva Vizcaya Association of Hawaii for the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital (NVPH).

According to Dr. Edwin B. Galapon, NVPH Chief, more assistance is expected to come from the said association because of the forged partnership and linkage between the provincial government and the association.

"The trip paved the way for a better relationship with Novo Vizcayanos abroad who, in one way or another, would like to share their blessings to the people of Nueva Vizcaya. We were assure that more donations and assistance will come that will be of health service provision to the people of Nueva Vizcaya," Galapon explained.

The Vizcaya delegation to the United States had the chance to meet with various Novo Vizcayano Associations, who in turn have provided commitments/donatons for the various programs and projects in the province, aside from the investments anticipated to enter the province following the delegation's presentation of various investment opportunities in the province.#casg (GO-PAIAD)
