NUEVA VIZCAYA DELEGATION IN THE US	September 19, 2008

A delegation from the province of Nueva Vizcaya headed by Governor Luisa Lloren-Cuaresma flew to the United States of America on September 1-17 to attend the yearly reunion of the Nueva Vizcaya-USA Association.

This came after the association invited Governor Luisa Lloren Cuaresma and party. Last year’s visitor to the same place was Congressman Carlos Padilla.

According to Acting Provincial Administrator Manuel Tabora, the purpose of the visit is to strengthen ties between our local officials and Novo Vizcayanos in America to become partners in the development of the province.

Tabora said the association can be one source of funding for programs in social services. Although the travel, he said, is purely official business, the delegates used their personal money for all their travel and incidental expenses.

The other members of the delegation were Dupax del Norte Mayor Antonio Palugod and wife, Solano Mayor Philip Dacayo and wife, Bambang Mayor Benjamin Cuaresma III, A. Castañeda Mayor Gerry Pasigian and wife, SP member Efren Quiben and wife, SP member Santiago Dickson and wife, Asst. Provincial Treasurer Rhoda Moreno, Provincial Engineer Jose Denis Naui, and Provincial Health Officer Edwin Galapon.#gbb (GO-PAIAD)
